Can we go to polihale & koke’e?

Yes, you can enjoy the unpaved roads of Polihale and Koke’e that lead you to wonderful campsites.

How many can you accommodate?

Our trucks seat 4 people comfortably with ample space inside the locked camper shell for luggage. Our rooftop tents sleep 2 people. Our ground tents (with blow up mattress) sleep 2 as well.

What is the minimum age to rent?

What is the check in procedure?

We offer pick up from the Lihue airport or your Hotel 7 days a week. We highly discourage pick ups after 6pm - setting up camp in the dark is never fun.

Bring it back dirty on the outside (or else that means you didn’t have any fun), and responsibly clean on the inside. Please fill up the gas tank and throw away any rubbish. Double check for personal belongings!

No. Please, do not smoke inside our trucks. Any evidence of smoking will incur a $250 fee.

Yes, you may use existing fire pits at the campsites. Wood can be purchased at any of our grocery stores. **Kumu Camp and The Meadow at Koke’e State Park DO NOT allow fires.

Do you offer discounts?

We offer discounts for our active military, experienced campers 65+ years old, return guests and groups traveling together renting multiple trucks.

What happens if we get into an accident?

Call the police. Insure your safety and those involved. Seek medical attention if necessary. Call Kauai Overlander!

What happens if we have a mechanical issue/flat tire/dead battery?

We have road side assistance available for flat tire or dead battery. Our goal is to get back on the road as soon as possible.
